Meubles Assels maintains this website for legitimate entertainment, information, education and personal communication purposes. By using this website, you agree to these terms of use, which are subject to the laws of the province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

You use this website at your own risk. Neither Meubles Assels, nor any other party to the creation, production or delivery of this website is liable for direct, indirect, unforeseen, incidental or punitive damages arising from access to or use of this website. Meubles Assels is not liable for damages arising from browsing the website or downloading any material, data, text, images or videos.

Meubles Assels endeavours to ensure that the content of the website is accurate and current. However, Meubles Assels does not guarantee that the information on the website is free of error, inaccuracy or omission. Error may relate to the price, description, colour or availability of products. All images, text and prices indicated on this website are based on the most recent information available at the time of posting on meublesassels.com. Our vigilance notwithstanding, errors may occur. Meubles Assels is not liable for photographic or typographic errors. The Meubles Assels website may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, displayed, transmitted or disseminated in whole or in part without the written consent of Meubles Assels. You may download, view or print documents posted on the website solely for your personal, non-commercial use. The unauthorized use of the meublesassles.com site or documents posted to it may violate laws governing copyright, trademarks and intellectual property, or other applicable laws. You may not alter copyright or trademark notices or any other notice of exclusive ownership contained in such documents. Prices, descriptions and images

Meubles Assels reserves the right to change retail prices, descriptions and images at any time without prior notice. The prices posted do not include taxes. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars. Despite our efforts to be as accurate as possible, the price, description or image of an item posted to the website may contain inaccuracies. If the correct price of an item is less than the price posted on the website, we invoice the correct price.

Contests, promotions and rebate coupons

Meubles Assels may hold contests, arrange promotions or publish rebate coupons from time to time for use by visitors to its website. All contests are subject to this agreement, and the applicable contest rules. By participating in a contest or promotion, or printing a rebate coupon, you signify your acceptance of all related rules.

Accord D Financing

$350 or less: Payable in cash, $350-$750: 12 installments, $750-$1,500: 24 installments, $1,500-$2,500: 36 installments, $2,500-$3,500: 50 installments, $3,500 or more: 60 installments. All installments are subject to the approval of the Accord D Desjardins credit department. All taxes (GST and QST) are due at the time of purchase. The amount to be made in equal installments does not include the sales taxes (GST and QST), and a deposit of 14.075% equal to the sales taxes (GST and QST) must be paid at the time of purchase (e.g.: the cost of credit for 50 installments of $20 for a $1,000 purchase represents $130.25, i.e. an annual rate of 6.74%). All installments are subject to the approval of the Accord D Desjardins credit department. If a payment becomes outstanding, interest will be calculated as of the payment due date at an annual rate of 19.5%, and will be charged monthly to the customer’s account (e.g.: for an outstanding balance of $100, the interest over a 30 day period will be $1.63).

If you find an item at a better price elsewhere in Québec within 10 days after your purchase, we’ll refund you the difference.

If we reduce the price of an item you’ve purchased within 10 days after your purchase, we’ll refund you the difference.

The conditions:

The product must be new.

The product must be sold by a Québec retailer and covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Competitors’ prices must be in Canadian currency.

Our best price guarantee does not apply to products that are refurbished, final clearance, discontinued, time specials, door crashers, liquidations, rebates, one-of-a-kinds and limited quantities. Boxing Day and Black Friday prices do not apply.

Advertising errors and misprints do not apply.

Prices do not include taxes.

The terms and conditions of our best price guarantee are subject change without notice.

Return and Exchange Policy

Received defective merchandise? Problem with your order?

All sales are final. However, if there’s a problem with your purchased item on delivery or if it doesn’t match its description on the site, please contact us within 48 hours after receipt.

If the circumstances warrant, Meubles Assels will apply its refund or exchange policy. In case of a refund, the amount debited on the purchaser’s credit card for the returned item will be credited as quickly as possible. In case of an exchange, Meubles Assels will offer the purchaser an item of the same kind at an equal or higher price.

Returns and exchanges

In case of an unprocessed order, we can cancel your order free of charge.*

If, for any reason, you change your mind about a purchase, and the order is already shipped, we can take it back, subject to a restocking charge equivalent to 20% of the total purchase price. We’ll take care of the transportation. You can also return the merchandise directly to the store, in its original packaging and in perfect condition, free of charge. You have 10 days (consecutive) after the delivery of your order to benefit from this service. No refund or exchange is possible after this period.

Please note that no returns or refunds are possible for mattresses, box springs and mattress covers. Furthermore, no returns or refunds will be accepted on items purchased during special promotions, including demonstrator sales, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, etc.

Warranty

We are committed to offering you high-quality products. If there is a problem with your purchase in the manufacturer warranty period, we will make every effort to satisfy you. It is important to keep your bill so that we can follow up on warranty-related requests.

Delivery Policy

Meubles Assels delivers all over Québec*

Meubles Assels delivers your purchases free within a 200-km radius.

A $50.00 delivery charge will apply to all addresses outside the 200-km radius.

To make sure you get the best rate possible, certain products are delivered by Canada Post Xpresspost. We’ll make sure you pay the lowest delivery charge whichever product you buy.

Our delivery service will get in touch with you to set up a time for their visit. If a product you’ve ordered isn’t available, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to inform you when it will be back in stock.

Additional charges apply if you are absent when your purchase is delivered.

If you notice any breakage or defect when your product is delivered, make sure you contact us at 1-418-396-2866, by email at meublesasselsahotmail.com or in person at the store within 48 hours after receiving your merchandise.

*Certain sectors aren’t served by our delivery network. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders we can’t ship.

What you need to know

APPLIANCES

Your appliances will be delivered with the greatest care possible by our delivery staff. It is understood that, on delivery, appliances are unpacked, checked and placed where you want them, but will not be installed. At no time will Meubles Assels authorize its delivery staff to install your appliances. You will understand that, for safety and insurance reasons, these services are not offered on delivery and are the entire responsibility of the consumer and that Meubles Assels reserves the right to refuse any installation that might put your home at risk.

**If our delivery staff is required to move your old appliances, they cannot be held responsible for breakage caused to your residence or the old appliances when they are moved.

FURNITURE and MATTRESSES

Furniture and mattresses delivered to you will be unpacked, checked and placed according to your instructions where you want them. Please note that items marked “assembly required” will simply be placed in the desired spot. For more details, consult your advisor in store. No wall installation will be authorized by Meubles Assels. To help our delivery staff do their job properly, please make space for your new furniture before it arrives.

Financing

Financing is available in store only.

POnline purchases must be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Meubles Assels offers its clientele the possibility of financing their purchases flexibly with Desjardins Accord D financing or our alternative financing.

ACCORD D

With the collaboration of the Desjardins Accord D card service, you can buy now at Meubles Assels and pay nothing for the next three, six or 12 months. Only the taxes are payable at time of purchase; no other payment is required throughout the financing period.

With the collaboration of the Desjardins Accord D card service, you can also opt for a simple and convenient equal payment plan. You’ll pay the total cost of your purchases, priced according to the promotion in effect, in up to 50 equal payments.
